The core of the torque motor is the special highly reliable geared motor that has a long life span and maintenance free
technology. Its unique design enables the obstruction to take place at any position of the rotation without causing
damage to it. The motor gear uses a permanently sealed lubricant assembly,saving the trouble of changing and topping
oil by users. When in stationary,the motor uses the micro-current that heat up the lubricant inside to prevent it from
frozen under a cold weather condition of -40 degree C.

The mature and conventional AC torque motor is simple and reliable.There are widely used in the barrier industry for
years.However,the greatest shortcoming is the AC torque motor can only generate a fixed speed and unable to produce
a speedy and stable operation of the arm.By adopting the innovative digital variable frequency technology that activates
the motor to get start at low speed,accelerate at high speed,decelerate,brake,slow down,and stop,presenting a
graceful,soft,and accurate movement of the arm.

To achieve the arm operating at high speed and to stop accurately at the end of each cycle,longer life span of the motor
and transmission mechanism,a precise and efficient electronic brake system plays a crucial role.A high frequency (130
times/sec)PWM brake pulse is adopted and synchronized with the driving current,giving continuous and short
movements that generate soft but powerful braking force allowing the high speed barrier arm to decelerate smoothly
and quietly. A result that is unachievable by a conventional barrier gate technology.

The all-new End Stability Program intelligently induces a changeable driving force regardless the speed of the barrier
arm as it approaches the end, allowing it to stop with a low speed and stability. The rising up and lowering down process
of the barrier is always graceful and stable, without any vibration. ESP ensures that when the arm is in stationary
state, the motor needs only a little maintaining current to reduce power consumption.Compared to conventional products
the heat produced is obviously less.

The Absolute Position Sensor continues sending the position and speed of the arm data to the controller for arm
positioning calculation. The conventional mechanical open and close limit switches that produce low timing of the arm
positioning is easily worn out and unable to collect arm positioning data continuously.

As the high-speed barrier requires accurate and effective braking processes, the timing to activate the braking
mechanism is crucial.

Conventional products generally have the braking point set before they leave the factory but due to the changes of the
open/close positional switches, collide, damage and shortening of the barrier arm, a professional is required to calibrate it.
Otherwise, the barrier will be working under an abnormal condition constantly with full of impacts, bouncing and jumping
resulting in shortening its life span largely.

Under normal working conditions, SBPD enables the controller to monitor the operating speed of the arm as soon as
approaching the ends. If it is beyond the default range of stability, it will automatically calibrate the braking positions
without user intervention.

SBPD enhances the adaptability of the barrier into its current on-site environment and eliminate the cumbersome
periodical adjustment of conventional products.
